Tasks

Authorized users can create and manage tasks assigned to the hotel. Use the Start Date and End Date fields to specify the period of time in which the task was created or updated, and use the Search field to further narrow your results.

Create new task

To create a new task:

  1. Click New Task. The Add New Task window displays.

  2. Enter a name for the task in the Task Name field.

  3. Select a department Assignment from the drop-down. 

  4. Enter a short description of what is to be completed in the Description field.

  5. Select a Priority level.

  6. Click Save.

View completed tasks

Tasks that are marked complete are moved to the Completed Tasks table. You can update the task as needed or store it for record keeping for up to 18 months.

Tasks table

The table displays a list of tasks with To-Do and In Progress statuses. Use the Filter drop-down to filter the table by priority, status, or assignment. Use the Actions drop-down for bulk updates.

You can change the task status by updating the Status column drop-down. 

Click the edit icon in the Actions column to open the task window. You can update any task properties from this screen, add comments, and view the Change History.
