Interfaces on Premises

Use to establish the following third party interfaces:

  1. Call Accounting
  2. eFolio
  3. Internet
  4. Key
  5. Movie
  6. PBX
  7. POS
  8. Energy Management
  9. Voice Mail

Call Accounting

  1. Select Call Accounting from the Select Interface drop-down menu.

  2. Click the checkbox beside Property supports Call Accounting interface.

Note: By selecting this checkbox, the guest agrees to be billed for chargeable calls made from their room during their stay. Charges post to the guest's primary folio with the appropriate charge code configured for the call. View the call charges from Front Office Guest Board → Guest Stay Record - Guest Folio.

  1. Select the Vendor from the drop-down menu.

  2. Interface supports Guest Restrictions checkbox:

    1. (Default) Leave blank if the interface does not support guest restrictions.

    2. Click the checkbox if the interface supports guest restrictions.

  3. Select the Default House Account from the drop-down menu.

  4. Select the Default Charge Code from the drop-down menu.

  5. If applicable, enter the Rate (Per Minute) in the corresponding field.

  6. Click Show Advanced Settings to display the following additional options:

    1. Local Calls Charge Code

    2. Long Distance Calls Charge Code

    3. International Calls Charge Code

  7. Click Save to save the interface configuration, or click Cancel to exit without saving.

 

Efolio

  1. Select eFolio from the Select Interface drop-down menu.

  2. Check the box beside Property supports eFolio interface.

  3. Select the Vendor from the drop-down menu.

  4. Interface supports Guest Restrictions checkbox:

    1. (Default) Leave blank if the interface does not support guest restrictions.

    2. Click the checkbox if the interface supports guest restrictions.

  5. Click Save to save the interface configuration, or click Cancel to exit without saving.


Internet

  1. Select Internet from the Select Interface drop-down menu.

  2. Check the box beside Property supports Internet interface.

  3. Select the Vendor from the drop-down menu.

  4. Interface supports Guest Restrictions checkbox:

    1. (Default) Leave blank if the interface does not support guest restrictions.

    2. Click the checkbox if the interface supports guest restrictions.

  5. Click Save to save the interface configuration, or click Cancel to exit without saving.


Key

  1. Select Key from the Select Interface drop-down menu.

  2. Check the box beside Property supports Key interface.

  3. Select the Vendor from the drop-down menu.

  4. Select the Default number of keys to generate from the drop-down menu.

  5. Enter the Encoder Name.

  6. Enter Encoder MAC Address.

  7. Click the radio button to set the encoder as the default.

  8. Enter the Terminal Name.

  9. Click the radio button to set the terminal as the default.

  10. Click Show Advanced Settings to display the following additional options:

    1. Key Link Access Level Code

    2. Key Link Access Level Description

    3. Key Link Device / Manufacturer / Model (DMN)

    4. Key-Link Expiration Time

    5. Key-Link Password

  11. Click Save to save the interface configuration, or click Cancel to exit without saving.

 

Movie

  1. Select Movie from the Select Interface drop-down menu.

  2. Click the checkbox beside Property supports Movie interface.

  3. Select the Vendor from the drop-down menu.

  4. Interface supports Guest Restrictions checkbox:

    1. (Default) Leave blank if the interface does not support guest restrictions.

    2. Click the checkbox if the interface supports guest restrictions

Note: When Interface supports Guest Restrictions is enabled, you can access the reservation restrictions from Front Office → Guest Board → Guest Stay Record - Interface Restrictions. You can click the toggle button to turn Movie restrictions on or off for the interface. Click Save to save any updates you make on the Guest Stay Record - Interface Restrictions page.

  1. Select the Movie Access level from the drop-down.

  2. Select the Billing Access level from the drop-down.

  3. Click Save to save the interface configuration, or click Cancel to exit without saving.

Note: If the Movie interface is enabled for the property and a guest checks in, you can update the interface restrictions set by the property. A warning message displays that you are updating the restrictions lower than set by the property. Click Yes to continue saving.

PBX

  1. Select PBX from the Select Interface drop-down menu.

  2. Click the checkbox beside Property supports PBX interface.

  3. Select the Vendor from the drop-down menu.

  4. Interface supports Guest Restrictions checkbox:

    1. (Default) Leave blank if the interface does not support guest restrictions.

    2. Click the checkbox if the interface supports guest restrictions.

Note: When Interface supports Guest Restrictions is enabled, you can access the reservation restrictions from Front Office → Guest Board → Guest Stay Record - Interface Restrictions. You can click the toggle button to turn PBX restrictions on or off for the interface. You can also change the selections in the PBX Language and PBS phone restriction On drop-down menus. Click Save to save any updates you make on the Guest Stay Record - Interface Restrictions page.

  1. Click the PBX phone restriction drop-down, and select the desired phone restriction.

  2. Select Default OOO Reason code from the drop-down.

  3. Click Show Advanced Settings to display the following additional options:

    1. PBX Language 

  4. Click Save to save the interface configuration, or click Cancel to exit without saving.

 

POS

  1. Select POS from the Select Interface drop-down menu.

  2. Click the checkbox beside Property supports POS interface.

  3. Select the Vendor from the drop-down menu.

  4. Interface supports Guest Restrictions checkbox:

    1. (Default) Leave blank if the interface does not support guest restrictions.

    2. Click the checkbox if the interface supports guest restrictions.

  5. Enter the Default Charge Code.

  6. Click Save to save the interface configuration, or click Cancel to exit without saving.

Mapping

To add mapping to the interface:

  1. Click Add Mapping.

  2. Select the transaction code from the Folio Posting Transaction Code drop-down.

  3. Enter the Revenue Code.

  4. Enter the Meal Time/Period.

  5. Select the charge code from the Charge Code drop-down.

Note: When manually posting charges to a guest folio, charge codes are available if the Manual Posting Allowed checkbox (Setup → Property Hub Configuration → Property Settings - Transaction Codes) is selected. If the checkbox is not selected, charge codes are not available. On the Interfaces on Premises page, charge codes are always available regardless of the Manual Posting Allowed checkbox status.

  1. Enter a Description, if needed.

  2. Click Save.

 

Energy Management

  1. Select Energy Management from the Select Interface drop-down menu.

  2. Click the checkbox beside Property supports Energy Management interface.

  3. Select the Vendor from the drop-down menu.

  4. Click Save to save the interface configuration, or click Cancel to exit without saving.

 

Voice Mail

  1. Select Voice Mail from the Select Interface drop-down menu.

  2. Click the checkbox beside Property supports Voice Mail interface.

  3. Select the Vendor from the drop-down menu.

  4. Click Save to save the interface configuration, or click Cancel to exit without saving.
