In the Room Units page, you can set and modify guest room units. Use the search box to search for a specific room. Navigate to Setup → Property Hub Configuration → Property Settings - Room Units.

To add a room unit:
Select the Guest Rooms tab.
Click the Add Guest Room Unit button.
Enable the checkbox if the room is to be a Non-inventory-Room.
Populate necessary fields:
Room Number
Room Type
Description
Rank
Note: Only displays if the Enable room rotation for room assignment checkbox is disabled in Reservation settings. Rank is automatically generated and displayed in the field. Room rank can be viewed from any page or window where rooms are assigned/changed (Guest Board, Guest Stay Record, Walk In Reservation, Group Rooming List, and Room Assignment modal). The SynXis Property Hub - Can rank room units access point must be enabled in the SynXis Central Reservation System.
Room Status
Click Select Images to view images that can be selected to attach to a room
Click the checkbox to choose an image to attach to the room unit.
Click Add to attach the selected image to the room unit.
Click the Mark room as pet friendly checkbox to allow pets and assign a pet-friendly icon to display on the room unit.
Click the checkboxes to select all applicable Assign Features.
The Pet in Room checkbox must be selected in order to fully set up a pet friendly room.
Click Save to save settings and return to the Room Unit page.
To add a function room:
Click Function Rooms.
Click Add Function Room Unit.
Select one of the two statuses:
Active if the room unit is needed.
Inactive if the room unit is no longer needed.
Populate the necessary fields in the Room Unit Info:
Function Unit Number
Name
Phone Extension
Populate Room Details.
Long Description
Short Description
Select the Yes or No radio button for ADA Compliant ? .
Populate the necessary fields:
Minimum charge
Ceiling
Length
Width
Total Space
Max Capacity
Reception Capacity
Click Save to save settings and return to the Room Unit page.
To add or edit an image:
Click Image Library.
Click selecting files from your computer to add images.
Navigate to the image in your File Explorer and select it.
Click Open.
To edit or delete rooms:
Click the pencil icon to edit a guest room unit's details.
Click the trash icon to delete a guest room unit.
If ranking functionality is available, you can change the room rank from the Room Units table. Drag and drop the rooms in the table using the reorder widget in the Order column to move them in the desired order. The ranking order displays in the Rank column and updates automatically.
