Reservation - Property Defaults

Use to establish reservation related settings.

Default configuration

Establish walk-in reservation settings:

  1. Select the default Rate Plan for walk-in reservations from the drop-down menu.

  2. Select the default Length Of Stay for a walk-in reservation.

  3. Choose the default Source to assign to walk-in reservations.

Dashboard

Select the default room/rate to be displayed in the Availability section of the dashboard from the Room Type drop-down.

Other

Establish miscellaneous reservation settings:

  1. Click the checkbox to Allow reservation cancellation with a balance.

  2. Click the checkbox to Enable room rotation for room assignment.
    If enabled, rooms rotate based on the last occupied date. If disabled, room rotation follows the assigned rank configured in Room Units.

  3. Click the checkbox to Allow Modification of Source Code.

    1. Click the checkbox to make Source Code Mandatory.

  4. Click the checkbox to Allow Modification of Market Code.

    1. Click the checkbox to make Market Code Mandatory.

  5. Click checkbox to Send email on the update of GSR.

  6. Click the checkbox to Add warning to validate guest details.
    From the Guest Stay Record, Guest Board, and Guest Folio pages, the Guest Details modal displays a warning message to validate the guest's profile. Loyalty guests are excluded from this functionality.

  7. Click Save to save settings.
