Check-In

Check-in can be initiated from the Guest Board or from within the Guest Stay Record. The check-in flow will vary from property to property depending on how SynXis Property Hub is configured. Several key action points are completed during check-in, such as capturing a physical swipe for the method of payment, room assignment, and issuing rooms keys. Upon check-in, the room is updated to occupied and the housekeeping status changes to dirty.

  1. Click Assign Room to find a room for the reservation, if needed.

  2. Click Check-In.

  3. Send to a payment device or manually enter a payment method.

  4. Print the registration card. If guest signature capture is enabled (Payment Interface), click Capture Guest Signature to have the guest sign via PIN pad. The registration card generates with the signature embedded for print or download. 

  5. Issue Keys.

  6. Click the Complete Check-In button.
