The Stay Information section on the Guest Stay Record page allows you to edit and add information to the guest's reservation form. Learn more information on how to configure the fields displayed in the Stay Information card here.
If you have uploaded a custom VCC logo (Setup > Property Hub Configuration > Property Settings - Financial), it displays along with the credit card logo in the blue banner above the Stay Information section. The default VCC displays if a custom logo was not configured.

Select Edit next to Stay Dates. The Stay Info window displays with the default Stay Dates tab selected.
Adjust stay dates by:
Click Apply Changes.
Note: Changing the stay date results in a rate update.
Click Apply New Rate to continue. The Post Payment section displays, if applicable.
Note: The pre-populated value in the Amount to Post field is the full Amount Due. If the Restrict user from decreasing Amount to Post at check-in and extend stay dates checkbox is enabled (Setup → Property Hub Configuration → Property Settings - Financial) and the user role has access, the value entered can be less than, greater than, or equal to the Amount Due.
Click Post Payment.
Note: For cash reservations, the Apply button displays instead. If cash collection fails, the new stay dates are not applied to the reservation. The payment amount collected depends on the Max Auth Days field configuration (Setup → Property Hub Configuration → Interface Settings - Payment Interface).
To edit the rate plan:
Click Edit. The Stay Info window displays.
From the Daily Rate section, choose a new Rate Plan using the drop-down.
Edit the value in the Rate (USD) field column.
From the Reason for Override section, select Reason from the drop-down menu.
Enter a Description.
Click Save to save settings.
Reservations can contain automatically exempted group taxes and can be manually edited in the Stay Info window. Use this function when you need to manually exempt or nonexempt rates and group reservations as tax exempt for certain taxes:
Uncheck any taxes or fees to exempt the reservation, or leave the box checked to apply taxes or fees.
Click the blue hyperlink in the Tax or Fee column to view the Applied Taxes or Applied Fees window.
Select a tax exempt reason from the Tax Exemption Reason drop-down to define why the tax code has been exempted at the room, rate, or hotel level.
Note: Tax exemption reasons are configured in SynXis CRS → Setup → Property → Policies - Tax Exempt Reasons.
Click Apply.
To edit taxes and fees per stay:
Select Taxes and Fees Per Stay.
In the Stay Taxes section, select a tax exempt reason from the Tax Exemption drop-down to exempt the taxes.
In the Stay Fees section, select a tax exempt reason from the Fees Exemption drop-down to exempt the fees.
Note: The Stay Taxes and Stay Fees totals reflect the changes made when a tax is exempted. Click the X to save and close the Taxes and Fees Per Stay window.
b. To edit taxes or fees per night:
i. Select the checkbox to edit Taxes Per Night or Fees Per Night.
ii. In the pop-up window, select a tax exempt reason from the Tax Exemption drop-down to exempt the taxes or fees.
Note: Tax exemptions are configured in SynXis CRS → Setup → Property → Policies - Tax Exempt Reasons.
iii. Click Apply.
Note: After the reservation is confirmed or modified, final tax and fees totals for the reservation display.
A non-editable field displays the reservation confirmation number.
To apply add-ons to a reservation:
Select Add to add an add-on.
Select an add-on from the Add-Ons page.
Select Apply to save settings.
To edit add-ons:
Click Edit next to Add-Ons.
In the Reservation Add-Ons window, click Edit.
Modify the add-on information, as needed.
Click Update to save changes.
Select Add to add a source.
Select a Source from the drop-down menu.
Select Apply to save settings.
Select Add to add a Market.
Select a Market from the drop-down menu.
Select Apply to save settings.
If configured in the property settings, you can see the estimated arrival and departure times for your guest. Once the guest has checked in and checked out, the verified arrival and departure times display.
Click Assign to add travel agent information.
Enter the travel agent ID in the Travel Industry ID field and click Search, or search by the travel agent's Legal Name and City.
Click Select.
Note: Once a reservation has been saved, you are unable to unassign a travel agent. Any changes you make to your travel agent assignment must be made before saving or leaving this page.
